I was taking a walk the other day and became as entranced with this Great Blue Heron as he was with his prey.  There was no concern at all for me or for the fact that I walked to within a few feet and might have posed a danger.  All concentration was focused on whatever it was that was trying to stay unnoticed, just a short distance away.  Sometimes I feel as though I’m living in a nature book!  [Please click on the photo for a full sized view]
